What we do, what we supply

Two lists not to be confused. Our lines of work describe what we do. The sectors describe the equipment we source for you.

Bed of a long press brake
  • International sourcing office

We look for manufacturers and compare their offers, prices and lead times included. You receive a reasoned shortlist.

  • Business facilitation

We connect buyers and suppliers who would not have found each other, then set the contractual framework so the deal can close.

  • Project coordination

Ordering, quality control, shipping, reception on site: we coordinate every party and you keep a single contact.

  • Local support

Our partners in Guinea, DR Congo, Burundi and Nigeria know the ground. They follow the delivery and handle what cannot be handled from afar.

What we source for you

We do not sell from a catalogue. Every project starts from a need, and we look for the equipment that meets it.

Frequently asked questions

Before you write to us

Does Sobetracom sell from a catalogue?

No. We start from your need and look for the suppliers and manufacturers that meet it. Our references show it: defibrillators, pipes, a press brake, TV control-room equipment.

Which countries do you work in?

Our head office is in Belgium. We have partners in Guinea, DR Congo, Burundi and Nigeria. For a project elsewhere in Africa, tell us about it: we will say whether we can follow it.

Who do you work for?

States and ministries, donors, international organisations, NGOs and private companies. Our references include the DR Congo Ministry of Health, ENABEL, AFD, CASOBU and AMU.

How does an assignment work?

In six steps: understand the need, find suppliers, select offers, coordinate ordering and shipping, deliver, then follow the arrival on site.

Can you handle an urgent order?

Yes. For the preparations of the Pope's visit to DR Congo, we supplied the Ministry of Health with medical equipment at short notice, defibrillators included.

How do I present a project?

Through the contact form: the country, the sector, your need and the deadline are enough to start. You can also message us on WhatsApp at +32 484 68 01 04.
